Itinerary

Day 01

  • Arrival at Lamezia Terme Airport

  • Transport to Hotel Baia dell'Est.

  • Welcome dinner with Chef Rachel Barnett and ICI President, Chef John Nocita

Day 02

  • Breakfast at hotel

  • Cuicina Creativa- Join us for a demo style day in the kitchen. Where chefs will  demonstrate a multitude of traditional Italian dishes.

  • Lunch provided kitchen style throughout demonstration, wine pairing included.

  • Mindfulness / meditation beach practice (optional)

  • Dinner at local pizzeria, Tropp, for gourmet style pizza.

Day 03

  • Sunrise meditation on terrace (optional)

  • Breakfasat at hotel.

  • Hands-on cooking lessons. Participants will work side by side ICI chefs creating an aray of pastas.

  • Italian style late lunch at ICI, including wine pairing.

  • Free time in afternoon (optional mindfulness session)

  • Dinner at local Agriturismo

Day 04

  • Breakfast at local pasticceria

  • Depart for Tropea. 

  • Free time to shop and explore

  • Lunch at traditional Tropean restaurant

  • Free time

  • Departure to Hotel Baia dell’Est

  • Dinner at ICI

Tropea: located on the west coast of Calabria, over looking the Tyrrhenian sea. In 2021, Tropea was named "Most beautiful village in Italy"

Day 05

  • Breakfast at hotel

  • Transport to Bivongi

  • Tour of Bivongi: A jeep excursion into the mountains of Bivongi, arriving at the vineyards for the most breathtaking views

  • Wine tasting and lunch provided by Bivongi

  • Return to ICI

  • Dinner at ICI. A mediterranean themed dinner surrounded by the crystal blue sea.

  • Transport to winery Cantine Statti

  • Wine + Extra Virgin Olive Oil tasting and tour

  • Italian style late lunch at local Agriturismo (farm to table)

  • Free time (optional mindfulness session)

  • Cocktail party & Apericena (Appitizer/ Fingerfoods) ICI Terrace

Day 07

  • Breakfast at hotel

  • Cucina Creativa: Chef John and ICI team demonstrate evolutionary pasta, pastries and gelato.

  • Lunch will be provided throughout the demonstration, including wine pairing.

  • Wine lesson on taste analysis taught by ICI sommelier.

  • Pizza party at ICI

Day 08

  • Breakfast at hotel

  • Cultural Market Visit: open air farmers market to explore the bountiful harvest of our surrounding area.

  • Visit to Squillace: located just 15 minutes from ICI

  • Explore Medieval Castel

  • Artisanal terracota art demonstration

  • Italian style late lunch at ICI

  • Free Afternoon

  • Farewell dinner at the beach [Blanca Cruz]
